Product and Wood Quality
We design and manufacture heirloom quality chess sets from the last 2 decades. Our chess pieces are perfectly hand carved in many kinds of wood like ebony, boxwood, rosewood, Sheesham, etc. We have an extensive range of heavily weighted and felted luxury chess sets. We also have handmade Indian wooden chessboards as well as Imported Spanish chess boards that are made from the finest woods in different sizes and different wood combinations. It takes a couple of weeks by our proficient artisans to carve a single chess set.
Types of Wood used
We use genuine Sheesham wood, ebony, Bud Rosewood, Golden Rosewood, Rosewood, boxwood, stained dyed, antiqued boxwood as per buyers choice.
Seasoning & Treatment
Wooden logs and planks are treated with Copper Chrome Arsenate in a high-pressure chamber. Afterward, they are seasoned & Kiln-dried (30 days duration) to ensure moisture level between 8-12%, depending on thickness.
